Busy week

It's been a busy last week here at tailwind kennel. The humans packed, repacked, weighed and shipped all of food the team and Jessica will eat out on the trail. On Wednesday Iditarod food drops were due in Anchorage. Jessica sent out over 2,000 pounds of dog food, trail snacks, dog booties, and gear to be used during the Iditarod. A special thanks goes out to Colt Coady and his family for being on call and delivering the final salmon to be cut up into doggy trail snacks (thanks Joan) while Marina and Colleen stopped by and helped label all the checkpoint bags. Meanwhile, Sam kept the master sheet and checked that all the food drop bags had everything the team and Jessica will need. And finally , Mike and Cathy Lucus for helping cut up meat for the team's trail snacks and helping to deliver the finished 2,000 pounds of food drops!
